2026-2027 School Lunch Information

Posted Date: 08/26/26 (05:15 PM)

Dear Parents and Caregivers,
As we get closer to the start of school, I wanted to share some food service items.  We continue to partner with Whitsons Culinary Group to provide breakfast and lunch for our students at each school.  This year, please welcome Christian Russo as our new Food Service Director.  He is excited to get to know our students and work with our dedicated food service staff.  He can be reached at foodservice@psharvard.org.

Please also see the attached letter for more about the National School Lunch Program.  One complete breakfast and one complete lunch per day per student continue to be free for all students this year.  Any second lunches or snacks (including milk if not taken with the complete lunch) do come with a charge as the school is only reimbursed by the government for one complete breakfast and one complete lunch per student.  We encourage families to add funds to their student's school lunch accounts if their student plans on buying extra items.  Students are allowed to charge up to $20 when their funds run low and we ask that these balances be paid in a timely manner.  Notices will go home automatically through myschoolbucks weekly if your student has incurred a negative balance.  All balances can be paid through myschoolbucks or cash/check at the cafeteria register.

Monthly menus and infomation on how to set up a myschoolbucks account and other food service information can be found on our website.
Food service also has an active parent advisory group that meets 4 times a year.  If you are interested in joining this advisory, please email me at mostaszewski@psharvard.org.

My best to you all as your children start school next week!
