Dear HES Families,

We are having a fun and exciting spirit week! Thank you to the 4th and 5th grade Student Council for planning such a wonderful week, which will culminate in Field Day on Friday. Please be sure students are wear sneakers on Friday for Field Day and bring a water bottle.

On Monday the TBS seniors visited us to read book to Kindergarteners. After reading, they enjoyed recess together! This has become such a meaningful way for seniors to mark the end of their time in the Harvard Public Schools and it brings such joy to our youngest learners!

Have a great week!

Help protect Harvard’s Wood Turtles, which are listed as a Species of Special Concern. If you spot one, take a clear photo from a distance and report it through MassWildlife’s Heritage Hub. Your sightings help biologists track populations and protect local habitat. Fun fact: Wood Turtles gently stomp their feet to mimic rain, tricking earthworms into coming to the surface. Please remember: it’s illegal to possess a Wood Turtle, so admire and let it continue on its way.

Registration for Monty Tech's 2026 Summer Camp is now live! We have streamlined the registration process so families will complete the registration, payment and medical form all online at one time. Click HERE to learn more and register.

Charter Review Committee Seeks Feedback
Please provide input to the Charter Review Committee by taking a short survey.  The committee is working to identify what's working and what needs improvement with the Charter that has been in place for about 10 years. Responses will help guide the committee in determining what needs to be amended, discarded, or introduced. Please take 5-10 minutes to respond using the link below. It can also be found on the town website.  The survey will be open until the end of May, but don't wait! Thank you for your help.
