Dear HES Families,

It's Educator Appreciation Week! Thank you to the PTO for providing sweet treats, coffee, decorations, and other goodies. We are also incredibly grateful to the PTO, Stacey Kenneally, Rachel Kopay, and the families who donated a new Keurig to replace ours that broke!

In addition to ensuring our educators are well-caffeinated, one of the most impactful ways to show your appreciation is by sending an email or card, or having your child write a note or draw a picture. HERE are some printable templates for students. Feel free to give notes and drawings directly to educators or put them in the box in our front lobby.

The Art Show is next Wednesday, May 14, starting at 5:30pm! We encourage families and community members to visit both HES and TBS to see all the amazing art from across the district. We have special musical treats this year as well! The 5th grade band will perform at HES at 5:45 pm and at 6:30 pm there will be a high school concert at TBS. We hope you can join us for this showcase of the Arts!

We are so grateful to art teacher Claudia Owens and music teacher Mark Hecox for all their hard work to make this show possible! Thank you as well to the PTO and our amazing parent volunteers.

Have a great week!
