Dear HES Families,

We hope you will join us this Friday morning for our first Coffee with the Principals at 8:00 am in the cafeteria. We will do a short presentation about how we set students up for success at the start of the year. Thank you to the PTO for sponsoring the coffee and treats! Students and younger siblings are welcome to join us.

This Friday is our October school meeting. We will continue our focus on what it means to be part of a community and kick off our annual pajama drive to benefit the Pajama Program. We will share more information about the pajama drive and a celebratory pajama day next week!

Have a great week!

2024-2024 ABYHA Learn to Play Hockey Program

The ABYHA Learn to Play Hockey Program is open to boys and girls aged 5-9, and is designed as the next step in development for players who have progressed through a Learn to Skate program. Participants develop their hockey-specific skating and learn the fundamental skills of hockey. This program follows the USA Hockey American Development Model, which recommends the use of age and skill appropriate drills to teach the players how to skate and play hockey. In our program, players will participate in various fun games and drills utilizing USA Hockey’s Learn to Play Hockey (6U) program, and will also play games on Sundays (starting in early January).

The 2024-25 Learn to Play hockey program will be split into two seasons. The first (fall) season will run from October 19 - December 21.  Players will skate 2 times per week (Sat 8am & Sun 10:30am) and format will follow the USA hockey ADM for 6U. All sessions will be at Nashoba Valley Olympia in Boxborough. Please go to https://www.abyha.org and click on “2024 FALL LTP REGISTRATION” to register.
